The Tech I will do general brake, lube, and tire repairs, assist in preventive maintenance (PMs), and do other maintenance activities. This is a training position to prepare the candidate for a Tech II position. Training will include heating and air, brakes, tires, transmission/clutch, refrigeration, compliance and safety procedures, systems processes, and performing other duties/training as assigned.
The Preventive Maintenance (PM) mechanic will perform PM inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, tire repairs, warranty procedures, and other duties as assigned. The Tech II will assist in repairs and is expected to comply with safety and CEPA procedures.
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers under minimal supervision. Repairs include PM inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, tire repairs, warranty procedures, driveline, steering & suspension, electrical troubleshooting, AC, and other duties as assigned.
The Master-Level Diesel Mechanic diagnoses and repairs medium- to heavy-duty trucks and trailers under minimal supervision. Repairs will include PM inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, tire repairs, warranty procedures, driveline, steering & suspension, electrical troubleshooting, AC, refrigeration, overheads, overhauls & rebuilds of engines and transmissions, plus other duties as assigned.
Warehouse team leaders make sure everything runs smoothly within the warehouse. This includes training and providing direction to employees, conducting quality audits, and other managerial responsibilities. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and warehouse leadership experience.
Warehouse associates accurately transfer, package, categorize, kit, or assemble product and materials, both physically and logically, to fulfill orders, inventory, load/unload trailers, and move product throughout the facility with and without powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.
The logistics management trainee role is a 10-12-month program designed to prepare you for a management career within Ryder. As a management trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience leading personnel and managing projects in a friendly and support learning environment. You’ll assist management across our Supply Chain and Dedicated verticals.
The Operations Management Trainee assists our fleet maintenance department by supporting the shop management process in areas such as cost savings, customer retention, inventory, financial reporting, and metric-based initiatives. This requires the Operations Management Trainee to work cross functionally across operations, asset management, sales, quality, and rental.
The Rental Management Trainee is the front-line sales agent for the rental of vehicles to the company's current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs. You will work cross functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and asset management departments, while utilizing excellent customer communication skills.
The Vehicle Sales Management Trainee position provides general vehicle sales training. You’ll support the onsite manager and learn all aspects of customer service, business development, inventory management, and sales. The Ryder Field Maintenance Manager position handles the management and execution of a comprehensive maintenance program for their business unit. This position ensures the key maintenance objectives, plans, and strategies are effectively communicated and implemented in the business unit. You have direct responsibility for overseeing a team that includes service managers and their respective locations.
Customer Service Coordinators enhance the customer experience by applying critical communication skills and taking ownership of the customer relationship activities that include customer interface, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
